Okay, I’ll be the first to admit… I am a glitter junkie. When I first saw that Stila had come out with their Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow I had to get my hands on some of the shades. Lets just take a moment and look at these beauties (Kitten Karma and Golden Goddess) up close.
Beautiful right?! Since these pictures do them no justice and this blog post will more than likely contain more pictures, lets just
The Magnificent Metals eye shadows are sold for approximately $24 each for 0.153 fl.oz of product. A little bit of this product goes A LONG WAY. It’s super pigmented, and you only need a small amount to achieve most eye looks. Directions on the box say “Apply one coat directly along the lash line and center of lid. Use your finger or a firm brush in a tapping motion to blend edges and set”. ONE COAT. That’s all you need. Just so you can see how pigmented we are talking about here, this is one swipe with the doe foot applicator.
Kitten Karma and Kitten is a well known color in the Stila Cosmetics company, most of their collections have at least one item named after the two. It should be no surprise that this beautiful collection has a Kitten Karma – a gorgeous champagne color with silver and copper sparkle. Gold Goddess is a beautiful antique gold with a silver sparkle.
One swipe with the applicator will deliver results like this, deeply pigmented, super intense sparkle with very little fallout. The liquid to dry formula definitely helps with the fallout, especially if you blend and set the eyelids like the box says.
BUT! All over sparkle really not your thing? Just want to add some glitter for a nice little pop before going out? Well, you can do that to! I was playing around with these last night and I decided to add some above my liquid eyeliner, for a little double eyeliner to make it pop and oh my did I love it. I put some in the corner of my eyelids and I was quite happy with the result. These eye shadows are so versatile, stunning, pigmented, and just all around amazing. Would I recommend them to friends, yes, I would recommend them to everyone. They are so worth the money.
Pictured below is Kitten Karma applied with a liner brush, all product taken off of the applicator and only needed to take product once.
Check out the product and other colors here, I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
